DR Bespoke Cabinetry is a family-run cabinet maker. With over ten years of experience, we design, make and fit the bespoke furniture North Yorkshire and Teesside homeowners ask us for, from fitted wardrobes and dressing areas and bespoke kitchens to media units, bookcases, fireplace surrounds and home office desks.

From Design Consultation to Fitting
This is how a job usually runs.
The consultation. We start with a design consultation, measure the room, including alcoves, ceiling heights and any slopes, and talk through what you want to store or display and the finishes you like.
The design. We draw the furniture in CAD from those measurements before anything is made.
Making and finishing. We make your furniture in our North Yorkshire workshop. Painted and sprayed pieces go through our own spray shop.
Fitting. Our own team fits the furniture in your home. We manage the project and coordinate with other trades where a job needs them. To start, contact us to arrange a design consultation.

Can you work with older houses and uneven walls?
Yes. Older houses, from stone cottages to Victorian terraces, rarely have square walls. Before anything is made we measure the alcoves, any sloping ceilings and any walls that lean, then make each piece to those measurements so it fits the room, not a standard size.
Which materials and finishes can we choose?
We work in solid oak, in oak veneer and oak effect board for interiors, and in painted finishes. Painted and sprayed finishes are done in our own spray shop, where we apply the colour you choose. Hinges, runners and handles are chosen to suit each piece.
